Do you need volunteers? What are your hours? And do you have Obama buttons and other products? Am eager to help get the word, and the vote, out!

  2. I also am keen to help – and to this end dropped by 401 to talk, buy a few Tshirts and banners and browse leaflets and positioning papers in preparation to joining a possible Rhode Island canvassing trip this coming weekend.

Imagine my disappointment to find an unbranded, unstaffed, dingy locked-up corner shop – when I had expected something like the Palantine campaign office out of Taxi Driver.

Other candidates have attracted negative media attention for campaign extravagances, but should this office not be more of an exciting political nerve-centre befitting NYC and Harlem?
