The joint is jumpin’ on weekends, so if you want to eat, you should make a reservation, or you can elbow some bar space and eat there.
Dinosaur Bar-B-Que is located off the West Side Highway at 125th Street, and the 1 train stops close by on 125th and Broadway (a two-block walk). It’s getting to be a happenin’ area–the legendary Cotton Club is two blocks south, the Hudson River Cafe is a one block north, and a new pizza restaurant called Covo is three blocks north, There is a cheap parking garage around the corner on W. 132nd Street, but there is a pretty steady turnover for street parking. Also, cabs and car services regularly stop by there. So head on over and make a night of it!
