How stupid was it for these people to open a luxury car dealership in Harlem. We weren’t talking about just Lexus or Mercedes models. This place had Ferraris, Lamborghinis, Bentleys and similar makes. The area is surrounded by homeless shelters and is on the infamous Lenox Ave, which is like a third world country. On top of this, you have Manhattan roads which not only have a speed limit of 30 and traffic lights every 500 ft, but also some of the biggest potholes around. The area residents could not afford the cars and anyone with enough money to buy one of these would not go to Harlem to buy!
The place is currently shut down and on the pillars some people scratched in the phrase “yuppie scum”.
Hopefully they will put in a grocery store (which was originally planned) and stop with these crazy ideas. There’s no real store around there to shop at besides PathMark with the bums all around or the Associated market with its lacking selection and 1980s decor.
