Something is happening in the world and we know what it is. It is when rape is used to effect the balance of wars, when our little boys and little girls are kidnapped for war, when we have no regard for young men and women, who are our sons and daughters we are trouble as world society.
Here are two people trying to do something about it. Brigitte Calize-Collins and Joe Collins, founders of “Friends of Maiti Nepal” speak of their own organization stemming from a sister organization, “Maiti Nepal” founded by Ms. Anuradha Koirala. Joe and Brigitte present both missions, the horrors of sexual trafficking, abuse, rape, torture, and what traffickers seek in potential victims. Positive preventative (mental, physical, emotional, spiritual) care, border control, education, awareness, legislation, and the strength of the survivors of sexual trafficking and trade are positive measures in the lives of women and children.
In the words of Anuradha, “Please tell the world about my girls.” To contact Joe & Brigitte click here.
