Labor Day weekend saw much partying going on in Brooklyn. But there was much partying going on in Manhattan too. At the upscale restaurant/lounge Pranna, Black Light Entertainment, The League and sponsor Ty-Ku came together to celebrate the launch of apparel line Global Recess “Fashion for Humanity.”
Model Emarie Wiltz of reality TV show Project Runway and Models of the Runway is the powerhouse behind Global Recess. Due to things she saw during her international travels, Emarie was compelled to find a way to help improve some bad situations: HUMAN TRAFFICKING, MILITARY USE OF CHILDREN and POVERTY.

Pranna was packed inside and there was a huge line outside trying to get in. DJ Moma and DJ L from BET’s Network’s 106 and Park were on the 1s and 2s providing the hot tunes for a hot party!

I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate BlackLight and the League for their acknowledgement of all the hard work it took to pull off Labor Day Sunday at Pranna.
