Blog Harlem Bespoke reveals the renderings for the upcoming Marcus Garvey Park Amphitheater, at 5th Avenue and 124th Street, a renovation of the existing 1969 bandshell by Cooper, Robertson, & Partners. Among the plans: bigger stage, recycled-material seating, and canopies for more than 1,600 audience members. The architects’ website has some additional interior renderings. Color us curious! At the rate that Harlem real estate projects are slowing we’ll see if this gets off the ground.
