Shopping
On July 29th, 2010, H&M had a private press showing for the re-opening of their 125th street store and of course Harlem World was in the house.
The whole store was glamorous, colorful and filled with excitement. H&M, in collaboration with Uptown Magazine, put together an amazing evening. Throughout the night music was played by a great DJ (who was dressed head to toe in of course H&M). As the music played handsome men and women dressed in black served the guest delicious hors d’œuvres, such as tiny egg rolls, and mini red velvet cupcakes. Couture inspired clothing, vibrant neon colored summer styles, and there “fabulous finds under fifteen” section, had the vip guest impressed.
Not only is H&M bringing affordable and trendy clothing to the Harlem, but Hennes & Mauritz are also giving back to the community. H&M will be donating gift cards to members of the Boys and Girls Club of Harlem.
