How many times have you watched a bicycle delivery person recklessly swerve in and out of traffic at break-neck speeds without a helmet or any other type of protection? Not only are they putting their life at risk, but they also breaking the law.
On Thursday, Aug. 5 from 1 to 4 pm commercial delivery people can pedal to Harlem to pick up a free bike helmet courtesy of New York City Business Solutions and the Department of Transportation. The helmets will be distributed at 672 W. 158th Street.
Restaurant owners who would like to take advantage of this offer should RSVP to NYC Business Solutions and ask for Barbara Martinez at 212-822-8357.
