Two crooks tried to run but couldn’t hide after cops caught them tooling around Morningside Heights in a stolen car, authorities said. Police stopped the 1995 Lincoln Town Car at West 116th Street and Riverside Drive ……at about 2:30 a.m. yesterday, but when the driver pulled to the side of the road, the four people inside jumped out of the car and ran, cops said.
Police nabbed Kautasia Rodgers, 17 and Jerell Joseph, 20, nearby.
But the two others fled into nearby Riverside Park.
Rodgers and Joseph were charged with grand larceny auto, criminal possession of stolen property and reckless endangerment.
