A bandit claiming to have a gun knocked off a Morningside Heights bank, authorities said yesterday.
The thug went up to a teller at the Citibank branch on Broadway near West 111th Street Thursday at 5:50 p.m., told the employee he had a gun and demanded cash.
The robber fled with an undetermined sum of money.

A city correction officer was arrested after attacking his wife in their Morningside Heights apartment, police sources said yesterday.
Herman Everett, 39, assigned to Rikers Island, pummeled his wife, an NYPD school-safety agent, in their apartment on East 112th Street near Fifth Avenue at 7 p.m. Monday, sources said.
The brutish officer broke her jaw, knocked out three teeth and gave her a black eye, the sources said.
The 37-year-old victim was treated at Mount Sinai Hospital.
Everett turned himself in at the 28th Precinct station house and was charged with assault.
He also surrendered his gun and shield to an official of the Correction Officers Benevolent Association, the sources said.
