Oh, man, I love this! Here’s one more luxury avatar the Apple’s iPad has appeared in: a luxurious African Blackwood case. Created by Gresso, a Swiss-registered company which describes itself as a manufacturer of luxury communication devices, the iPad is made from 200-year-old African Blackwood and the Apple logo is made of pure 18 carat gold.
Known to be the most valuable tree in the world because of its rich, black characteristics, the African Blackwood is said to have become Gresso’s trademark. Gresso says no two luxury African Blackwood iPads will be alike because no two trees are alike (of course!). Okay, this came out after the Christmas on New Years eve, but you still have time to get it for for my birthday!
