Fathers Incorporated, founded by Executive Director, Kenneth Braswell will host the First Annual Heritage Awards Dinner to kick off the successful initiation of the 2011: Year of Responsible Men (YORM) Campaign in partnership with the White House. During the event, several BLOCKBUSTER announcements regarding partnerships, events and initiatives, including proclamations from several major U.S. cities will be made to encourage responsible fatherhood and mentoring. Special Assistant to the President and Executive Director of the White House Office of Faith-Based and Neighborhood Partnerships, Joshua DuBois, will speak. Honorees include John Amos, Geoffrey Canada (via video), and others. The dinner will be hosted by Michelle Drayton, Publisher of Today’s Child Magazine and J-Will, host of Albany’s “JWill in the Morning” on Jamz 96.3 (Albany). The Keynote speaker for the event will be Pastor Tre’ Staton of the Empire Christian Center and special remarks delivered by Dr. Jeff Gardere, America’s Psychologist and host of VH1’s Dads Camp.
