Harlem Stabber Killer Sought

Cops released this photo of the suspect in the fatal stabbing of Juan Benito at about 8:25 p.m. Friday in front of 1553 St. Nicholas Avenue in Washington Heights.

Benito, 26, was found stabbed in the thigh and was DOA at Harlem Hospital; he lived at 562 West 173rd Street. Police described the suspect as a medium-built black man about 45 years old with a short salt-and-pepper beard. He was last seen wearing a hoodie, a black leather jacket, gray sweatpants, and sneakers and was running from the scene westbound on West 187th Street towards Wadsworth Avenue.
