The Hip Hop Consultant reported that Crain’s New York Business recently revealed that Combs’ Bad Boy Worldwide Entertainment Group is the third largest minority-owned business in the state.
The Harlem born mogul is involved in a wide range of business activity, from music publishing, artist management and TV and film production, to apparel (Sean John) and restaurants.
Diddy recently spoke to allhiphop.com about the honor saying,
“It is an incredible honor to be included among the top three minority owned companies in New York City time and time again. Hard work, determination and an unfettered desire to succeed helped me build this company to what it is today.”
Diddy, who’s businesses rake in over $300,000 million annual, said he hopes to inspire a new generation of entrepreneurs to follow their dreams.
“I hope to serve as an example and inspire anyone with a dream to dream bigger and know that they can achieve their goals.”
