Entrepreneur and marketing expert Daymond John will encourage and motivate Harlem residents to create their own page in history as part of AT&T’s 28 Days speaker series hosted by award-winning hip-hop artist, actor and activist Common Thursday, Feb. 24, at the historic Apollo Theater. The 2011 AT&T 28 Days program celebrates past African American history makers and showcases today’s new innovators.
AT&T created 28 Days in 2009 to highlight the month of February as not only a reflection of the past but also as a blueprint to what the future holds. This year, the AT&T 28 Days campaign returns with Common as the exclusive host and moderator of the speaker series. The Harlem event is the fourth of five speaking engagements happening across the country throughout the month featuring key African American history makers and innovators who will inspire individuals to rethink what is possible in their own lives.
Tickets for the Daymond John speaking event are available for free on a first-come, first-served basis, and consumers can sign up to watch a live stream of this event at www.facebook.com/att28days. For further information about AT&T’s 28 Days Speaker Series please visit www.att.com/thebridge.
