Join Harlem United as Team Harlem United participates as a Charity Partner with the New York Road Runners for the New York City Half-Marathon. 40 runners will run as well as raise money on behalf of Harlem United. This will be their second year doing the Half and they’ve done the full marathon twice. The new CEO Steven C. Bussey will be leading the Team which includes State Senator Bill Perkins, Model/TV Spokesperson Veronica Webb, staff members, clients and friends.
Even though it’s too late to run, you can support them with donations before March 20th, 2011. The event takes place in Central Park at: www.harlemunited.org/teamharlemunited, funds raised will go towards their HIV/AIDS client programs and assistance for the Harlem community.
