The international jet set and the city’s multi-millionaires have always ventured uptown to the greatest village in the world, Harlem. Cedric Lecendre, Bilboquet’s general manager and the nephew of its owner, Philippe Delgrange, has drank the coolaide and signed a lease for the eponymously named Cedric, which is slated to open in June at the old Mojo space on 118th Street and St. Nichloas Avenue.
The 650-square-foot Cedric at 185 Saint Nicholas Ave. will be open from 5:30 p.m. to 11 p.m., with brunch on the weekends. Cedric’s will have live music as well.
While not exactly what you would call a local restaurant, “it will be for people who live in the neighborhood,” said Lecendre, a Harlem resident.
Cedric’s is just the latest Upper East Side outpost to open in Harlem.
