From Harlem Resident at HW Everyblock
Police are looking for a man they say sexually assaulted a woman in Washington Heights Harlem about two weeks ago.
A surveillance photo of the suspect has been released.
Police say the attack took place around 6:30 p.m. on June 21 within the confines of the 28th precinct.
Investigators say the man followed a woman into a building, then into an elevator where he sexually assaulted her.
The suspect is described as being a black male between 25 and 30 years old, about 5’11″ inches tall, with a medium build.
He was last seen wearing a striped golf shirt and blue jeans.

The assault did not happen in Washington Heights. It took place in the 28th Precinct, South Central Harlem and environs.
