Featuring director Warren Carlyle, music director Wynton Marsalis and the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra, the program will recreate the annual revues that took place on the Cotton Club stage. As in the original revues, Cotton Club Parade will feature singers, dancers, and variety acts, bringing to life the excitement and sophistication of both America’s greatest composer and America’s most famous nightclub.
Sounds great, but remember Harlem comes to life in Harlem.
Tickets will not be available at the City Center Box Office until September 6.
All performances take place at New York City Center, located at 131 West 55th Street, between 6th and 7th Avenues.
Tickets start at $25.
