‘Renaissance In The Belly of A Killer Whale’ At Harlem Week

The ladies from Renaissance in the Belly of a Killer Whale would like to thank the Harlem community for your tremendous support!  Thanks to Harlem they were able to have a successful run of fifteen shows during the summer, which is typically not a good season for theatre! Their final performance was beyond sold out!

They are currently raising money to bring their dreams to fruition through Indie GoGo. Indie GoGo has helped to raise millions of dollars for over 35,000 campaigns, across 201 countries! This weekend is a weekend most Harlemites look forward to all year, HARLEM WEEK! The ladies of Harlem KW Project are scheduled to perform on both days!

Saturday, August 20th, is “Summer in the City.” From 12PM to 5PM 135th Street between St. Nicholas Avenue and Fifth Avenue will be blocked off from traffic and filled with people, music, food, entertainment, and more! We hope to have specific details as to when we will perform coming soon! Please follow them on Twitter to receive real time updates on the day of the event.

Sunday, August 21st, is Harlem Day from 12PM to 7PM. This is also taking place on 135th Street. The ladies of Harlem KW Project are scheduled to perform on the YMCA stage around 4PM!
