AOL unveils web series projects that represents one of the company’s biggest investments in video content, which executives have made no secret of saying represents the best opportunity to prop up the embattled company’s online advertising numbers.
One highlight of the slate include Sessions: original, exclusive performances with hit makers like Harlem native Alicia Keys. All produced by AOL Studios.
In addition to Keys the shows feature bigger names than traditionally
appear in online series. Among the bold faced talent are “Twilight”s’ Jackson
Rathbone, Jennifer “J LO” Lopez , Adele, Antonio Sabato Jr., Steve Stoute, Pharrell Williams, Jay Z, Justin Timberlake, president Barack Obama, and Heidi Klum.
Each program will be programmed and distributed across AOL Huffington Post
