Occupy Harlem: Protesters Demand NYPD Stop “Stop and Frisk,” And Professor Cornel West Gets Arrested (video)

On Friday October 21, hundreds of demonstrators marched to the NYPD’s 28th Precinct at 123rd Street and St.Nicholas Avenue in Harlem to protest the abuse of “stop and frisk” authorities by the police.

Dozens were arrested as they chanted “we won’t stop until they stop “stop and frisk!” when they blocked the entrance to the building in an act of non-violent civil disobedience. Among those arrested was Professor Cornel West.
