The Harlem Connection To New George Lucas Film

George Lucas–the director behind the Star Wars movies–, executive produced Red Tails, an action packed film inspired by the true story of the legendary Tuskegee Airmen, America’s first all black aerial combat unit. Members of the famed World War II team included the late Percy Sutton, former Manhattan Borough President and longtime Harlem resident.

The film which stars Cuba Gooding, Jr and Terrence Howard will be in theaters January 20th.
