Last summer, Harlem World Magazine spoke to Rev. Al Taylor, community leader, Harlem man and Rev. of Infinity Mennonite Church in Harlem. Rev. Taylor is a passionate man focused on bringing restoration (with jobs, empowerment, and education) to the Harlem community in many ways.
Never let anyone tell you what you cannot do!
He models the type of restoration that is needed in the community, through his own organization Man Up in Harlem. Man Up encourages men to take responsibility for their actions as well as their families. Rev. Taylor is a man about upward movement and manages to do so while working, touring around Harlem and the world engaging in relief efforts, and leading families in his church.
We think his energy and enthusiasm is a great way to begin the 2012.
