The beloved Hip Hop Cultural Center (H2C2harlem.com) that started in 2007  located on the corner of Frederick Douglass Blvd., between 124th and 125th Streets has closed it’s doors.H2C2 located on the second floor of the Magic Johnson Theatre was an 8,000 square foot venue that embodied every aspect of Hip Hop culture; Graffiti, DJ’ing, Break Dancing, MC’ing and more. Whether it’s Hip Hop-centric youth programs, Sneaker Battles, or our Annual Rapathon, H2C2 was the community outlet for creative expression. They were dedicated to the preservation of Hip Hop as a culture with their historical artifacts, exhibitions and education programs.
