Harlem Community Board 10 will hold a public hearing on the Mayor’s Preliminary Budget on the 2nd Floor of the Adam Clayton Powell State Office Building (163 West 125th Street, New York, NY), commencing at 6:00 PM on Wednesday March 7, 2012:
A portion of CB10’s March General Board Meeting will be devoted to a Public Hearing on the Mayor’s Preliminary Budget submission. Please come testify to let the City know if our community’s priorities are addressed by the Mayor’s plan. React to agency funding recommendations; support funding decisions you like; protest funding decisions you oppose; tell the City Council, the Borough President and the Borough Board about community concerns. Groups and individuals representing all segments of the community are encouraged to participate in the hearing.
HOW TO TESTIFY
1) All speakers must pre-register in order to testify – please phone the CB10 office to register
2) Speakers must provide a copy of their written testimony to be included in the board’s permanent record prior to testifying
3) Speakers will be given 3 minutes to state (speak) their testimony or a portion thereof – written testimony, however, is not limited
4) Speakers agree to be bound by these rules before being allowed to testify
