On February 19th, 2012, Harlem man Edwing D’ Angelo came on promptly at 8:30 pm, for his New York Fashion Week presentation at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel, at 301 Park Avenue, in the Grand Ballroom, in NYC.
The show opened with a young woman singing a flawless rendition of “I will always love you” by Whitney Houston.
The Couture crowd was wowed by Edwing’s black, white and red theme, that seemed a bit underwhelming and obvious.
Color theme aside, the bad boy, meets bad girl in fur collars, snapping whips, leather vests and some very tasteful formal wear highlighted the evening.
