In News.com.ua actor Norman Reedus talks about turning to directing (after his traffic accident), making three short films, and eventually built up to a feature film that never quite launched called I Was A White Sex Slave in Harlem.
He says he couldn’t find anyone for the lead.
“It’s hard to get an actor to play a six-foot-four tranny who’s a sex slave, you know?” laughs Reedus. “The only actor who ever said he’d do it was Heath Ledger.”

Wonderful book! I hope he makes that movie someday. Norman is the only director that could do it justice.
Norman Reedus is so talented. He deserves all the recognition he’s getting for The Walking Dead. Also, he’s fantastic photographer.
