Two Vy Higginson Plays This Spring And Summer in Harlem

Thought you missed “Mama I Want To Sing-The Next Generation”? You have not, “Mama I Want To Sing” has been extended through June 2nd and will have two additional summer performances on July 21st and August 18th.
In addition, Harlem diva Vy Higginsen is also reviving her “Sing Harlem Sing!” musical which will resume Saturday April 28th at 1 pm through June 2nd.
“Sing Harlem Sing! will be performed Saturdays at 1 pm and “Mama I Want To Sing-The Next Generation” will be performed Saturdays at 4:30 pm at the same theater-The Dempsey Theater 127 West 127th Street in Harlem, NY.

  1. I sure wish The Mama Foundation was a better neighbor. My family and I live next door and the sound is deafening. Repeated calls are met with indifference or hostility. And it seems that Higginsen does not care — if it furthers her agenda, her neighbors can suffer.

  3. Thanks! Here it is, 1:45 on a Saturday afternoon, and they are using full amplified keyboard and horrible noise is coming through my wall. I’ve called the police — but the Mama Foundation does not seem to care! Between the amplifiers, the mircrophones and everything else, including trespassing on our property for photos (just look at their Facebook page and you’ll see them all over our building) — they are the worst and rudest neighbors you could imagine.
