Today I was greatly humbled to have been selected Co-Chair of the New York State Democratic Party by Governor Andrew Cuomo.
Along with my Co-Chair Stephanie Miner, Mayor of Syracuse, I look forward to leading the New York State Democratic Party to victory and helping President Barack Obama achieve the change we jointly seek in our society. Governor Cuomo has been a fantastic leader during difficult times and has a great vision for the State of New York. Through his leadership and with your help, I am sure that our Party and our State will overcome any challenges that lay ahead. Please join me as we move the Democratic Party forward and ensure that the State of New York remains the Democratic capitol of the United States!
I would like to offer my sincerest thanks to the Honorable Jay Jacobs, who has led our party with great skill and aplomb since 2009. I look forward to continuing his tireless efforts, growing our grassroots operation and helping to elect as many Democrats as possible this November!
To all those who have helped me throughout my twenty years in public office and before, this Chairmanship is a testament to your support and hard work. I would like to thank my wife Susan and my two children Jared and Jordan for their patience and positive reinforcement throughout my career. I truly couldn’t have gotten where I am today without your help!
