Hope all is well with you today? I am writing to share some information about two pilot Re:LIFE programs starting this month. One is for youth between the ages of 14 and 18, and the other for young adults from 19 to 27.
Interested candidates should email their names and contact to info@relifeinc.org or call 347.450.1201 or 1206 to register. We will be holding orientation sessions on the first day. Also application deadline is being extended till July 9th instead of June 30th as indicated on the flyer.
The objective of the Young Adult Program is to teach youth concepts of entrepreneurship, how to develop and write an effective business plan, business registration, financial literacy, branding and business marketing and raising small business capital. There’d also be one-on-one business enhancement sessions to help students develop their businesses/plans as well as guest entrepreneur sessions with small business owners.The goal is that by the end of the program, each participant would have developed an effective business plan or started a business, be qualified for microfinance business start-up loan, and understand how to effectively grow their business through good marketing practices .
The objective of the younger program(YOUTHSEED) is to combine design, entrepreneurship and STEM education into a curriculum that introduces these three fields to youth. The goal would be to have students design viable products that will benefit their community either socially, environmentally, or through healthcare.
We are really looking forward to these, and hope that we’d get more applicants to sign up for them because they are both free programs.
