‘The Revolution Will Be Jazz’ TOO! – a party, a gathering, a hip exchange of words, a sip of wine, improvised, spoken, token, chillin, willin to be kickin’ our Tribute to Harlem’s Gil Scott-Heron. Music, Poetry, Flowetry, Words, Makin it all happen for our Kickstarter Campaign to raise funds for a great CD project,

The singer is Charenee Wade and their guest stars are poet/actor Malcolm Jamal-Warner, bassist/vocalist MeShell Ndegeocello, vibraphonist Stefon Harris and possibly superstar Christian McBride. “Anyone who truly knows me knows of my devotion to Gil Scott-Heron.  Last year I produced a tribute album to him by singer Giacomo Gates, Downbeat Magazine’s 2012 – Rising Star Male Vocalist.”

With the money pledged, they are asking about 350 friends, family and professional acquaintances to donate $10 or more.  Instead of buying a cup of coffee help a friend create lasting art, and they’ll list your name on the album.
