HW Pick: Spike Lee’s Red Hook Summer (video)

I’m sure you have realized that we love Harlem as much or more than Spike Lee loves Brooklyn, but that does not stop us from picking his new film Red Hook Summer. Anyway, we’re excited about one of the most talked-about films this year is coming to a theater near you!  Red Hook Summer – the new Spike Lee Joint that’s set to open in New York City on August 10 and nationwide on August 24 – is the latest installment in Lee’s “Chronicles of Brooklyn,” which includes She’s Gotta Have It, Do the Right Thing, Crooklyn, Clockers, and He Got Game.

Okay, we’re waiting for Harlem’s Gotta Have It or Harlem Fellas or a  movie about president Obama in Harlem called Baraklem.
