HW Pick: Total Recall With Harlemite Bokeem Woodbine

Total Recall, directed by Len Wiseman, is a Sci-Fi Action Adventure Film set in the futuristic political setting of 2048. After the devastation of total war, the world is divided into two superpowers, Euroamerica/Western Hemisphere and New Shanghai/Eastern Hemisphere who are ultimately deadlocked into a life or death struggle for dominance. Doug Quaid, (played by Colin Farrell) is a factory worker suffering from violent reoccurring nightmares. Harlemite Bokeem Woodbine plays Doug Quaid’s best friend Harry. Doug visits Rekall, a corporation that provides its client with implanted artificial memories of the lives they would like to have. From there it is an action sci-fi film with many people trying to kill Doug Quaid until the climatic breath-taking ending.
