Actor Laz Alonso, has announced the new celebrity Travel Ambassador for American Airlines and BlackAtlas.com at a launch party at the Studio Museum in Harlem. The “Jumping The Broom” star will travel across the world to document various destinations for BlackAtlas which American Airlines has deemed the online “passport to the black experience.”
Melanie Fiona (love her music) performed for a star studded crowd, including: Jennifer Williams, Somaya Reece, Robert Townsend, NBA player JR Smith, Amanda Seales and Tanika Ray.
The event was catered by celebrity chef Marcus Samuelsson‘s Harlem restaurant, Red Rooster, and guests. With a room full of Harlem’s movers and shakers, we can only wonder exactly what conversations were had.
