Cops are looking for a man they say burglarized three hair and nail salons in Harlem – twice at the same shop – walking away with a flat screen TV, a desktop computer and other electronics.
The serial salon burglar, who struck a total of five times on W. 125th St. in about a month, also entered the Community Access Company on Adam Clayton Powell Blvd. on July 31, some time after 8 p.m., police said.
The salon incidents are:
On June 28, between 6 p.m. and 11 a.m. the next day, he entered the Miss G. Hair Salon on W. 125th St. near Lenox Ave.
On July 10, between 11 p.m. and 9 a.m. the next day, he entered Best Braids Hair Salon on W. 125th St. near Lenox Ave.
On July 11, between 5:20 a.m. and 5:40 a.m., he entered Envy Nails on W. 125th St. at Fifth Ave.
On July 30, between 2 p.m. and 7:15 p.m., he reentered Envy Nails.
The suspect is seen wearing an electric blue t-shirt that says “Brooklyn” and “New York” and pushing a red hand truck in a series of surveillance images released (above).
