Harlem will be the host of Miami Heat all-star and just back from winning Gold at the Olympics Dwyane Wade on September 5th for a book signing of “A Father First: How My Life Became Bigger Than Basketball”. The event is a partnership between Hue-Man Bookstore and Harlem’s new entertainment venue MIST Harlem.
Tickets will be sold online for $35 which includes an autographed copy of Wade’s book, ability to witness a live, in-person interview of Wade by a media personality, and special goody bag. Knicks and Nets fans are welcomed.
The event begins at 7pm and doors will open at 6pm. Tickets for the event will not be sold at the door.
MIST Harlem, located at 40 West 116th Street, is a 20,000 square foot $21 million venue will consist of a 130 seat restaurant and three intimate theater spaces. It will showcase to the community an array of foods, film, live music performances, spoken word, comedy, and plays within the Black and Latino culture.
