These fashions are inspiring.for me Here in Minneapolis we are planning a reunion gathering “Black Fashion in the Twin Cities”during the 70′s through 90′s.This includes “Prince” designer as well. I have participated in these fashion shows for twenty years. This celebration is long overdue here in the Twin Cities. It is an honor to pay homage to an integral part of Minnesota’s fashion history! We may come to NYC.the” Sounds of Blackness” has connections to these shows as well. Thanks for allowing me the opportunity to share this fashion history. Rosa Bogar.
