Harlem’s Jim Jones Set To Star In ‘Vampire Life’

Jim Jones, the last action hero? Well, don’t expect Capo to land a role in “The Expendables 3,” but Jones is diving further into the acting pool.

On Tuesday, it was announced via press release that the Dipset rapper will star in “Vampire Life: The Movie,” an upcoming action flick. To pull it all off, Jimmy inked what’s being touted as a multimillion dollar deal with the little-known CMG Entertainment CEO Cisco Rosado, a multimedia company/ record label that was founded in 2010; the group will produce the movie and an accompanying soundtrack.

“We are very excited to partner with Jim Jones and be a part of the Vampire Life movement,” says Rosado. “Any time you have the opportunity to partner with a established artist and businessman of Jim’s caliber, you are bound to have a successful project and we look forward in growing the partnership.”

It’s been a good week for Jim across the board, however. On Monday, VH1 released the first trailer of the rapper’s new reality show, “Chrissy & Mr. Jones.” The series premieres on September 24 and is a spin-off of the original “Love & Hip Hop” show, in which both Jim and his wife-to-be Chrissy Lampkin starred. In the brand-new preview, Jim and Chrissy debate over whether or not they’re ready for kids: Jomo would like to have a baby, but Chrissy has other plans. “I’ve decided to freeze my eggs,” she says to Jim’s mother in the last scene of the preview.

No word yet on what role Jim Jones will play, but as of now we are all assuming that he will have the role of a vampire. At this point I’m just wondering how gangsta a vampire can actually look?!

And shooting will begin in mid-September in Miami, New York, Boston and Baltimore.

For those of you who are already salivating at the idea of this film don’t worry as it will be ready for the public release in December 2012.
