Did you miss the first Annual Harlem Hoedown? Well, you missed it, the event took place on Saturday, September 15th, 2012 in front of the Harlem Adam Clayton Powell Jr., State Office Building on 125th Street.
The event had an all-age friendly square dance featuring the live music of the Ebony Hillbillies, and “calling” and lessons by Pat Cannon and the Foot & Fiddle Dance Company.
As you can see, fun was had by all and even a “Soul Train” like line for the hoedownattendees. As we kept hearing before the event, be there are be square – so we had to be there.
More too come.
