Human Resources Administration Commissioner Robert Doar, Schools Chancellor Dennis Walcott and NYC DADS Coordinator Alan Farrell, joined fathers and children at PS/IS 180 on West 120th Street in West Harlem to learn how to ride a bike. The event, sponsored by Bike New York, was part of the City’s continued efforts to promote responsible fatherhood and the importance of parental involvement in a child’s life.
14 city agencies, including the Human Resources Administration and Department of Education, took part in Saturday’s event.
