Tour of Harlem Cultural Jewel During Harlem Arts Advocacy Week

Guided Trolley Tour to Bring Imagining America Conference Attendees, General Public to Studio Museum, Schomburg Center and Harlem Stage on Friday, Part of Harlem Arts Advocacy Week’12

Harlem arts and culture connect to the nation’s arts scene as Imagining America  (IA)—a consortium of universities and organizations dedicated to advancing the  public and civic purposes of humanities, arts and design—heads Uptown. A guided  bus tour will bring visitors and conference attendees to three renowned Harlem arts institutions—The Studio Museum in Harlem, The Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture and Harlem Stage/The Gatehouse. The event  is a part of the Harlem Arts Summit during Harlem Arts Advocacy Week, a week-  long series of free events promoting Harlem arts treasures presented by the HARLEM Arts Alliance (HAA), the central connection to Uptown arts and culture.  For more information, visit www.harlemaa.org.
