National Philanthropy Day Event: Defining Young Black Philanthropy in Harlem

Millennials, aka young professionals, have the greatest social media & pop culture influence. But do we really know what it takes to be influencers of philanthropy?  Join FriendsofEbonie.com on National Philanthropy Day for an evening of mingling and conversation about who Millennials are as influencers, how this impacts our communities and in what ways they are (re)defining philanthropy. After the panel, meet with non-profits who are looking for volunteer leaders like you!

The panel moderator is Jovian Irvin (@jovizi), Managing Director, Talent Recruitment and Strategy, The Wondaland Arts Society: Official Chasemaster.  And the panelists are: Mike Muse (@iammikemuse), CEO Muse Recordings & Member of President Obama’s National Finance Committee; Nubia Murray (@nubiashines), Senior Associate, Strategic Philanthropic Initiatives, JP Morgan Chase; and Amanda Ebokosia (@ebokosia), Founder & CEO of The Gem Project, Inc.  The community partner is Imagine Harlem.
