Free housing for Hurricane Sandy-affected neighbors

Mayor Michael Bloomberg announced that the City of New York is partnering with Airbnb to provide those in need with much-needed housing relief.

Airbnb members in Hurricane Sandy–affected areas can now offer their space for free. Thousands of hurricane victims still need shelter, so the team at Airbnb is encouraging everyone who is able to share space to participate.

People who require a temporary place to stay can quickly find a free space via their list of free, available housing for Sandy-affected areas: https://www.airbnb.com/sandy?ref=guest_rooster

If you’re fortunate enough to have space in Harlem for others to stay, please read for more info and possibly to post. If you have family and friends who need housing, please send this information along to them as well: https://www.airbnb.com/sandy?ref=guest_rooster
