Commemoration of the Battle of Fort Washington

Join us for a commemoration of the 236th anniversary of the Battle of Fort Washington.  Be transported back in time and learn about how your local history was an important part of the making of our country. And don’t forget your triicornered hats. Dress up like your favorite Revolutionary War character!

Featuring The Brigade of the American Revolution‘s historic battle reenactment, a blacksmith demonstration, Historian Barnet Schecter, author of The Battle for New York, and arts and crafts and games for kids compliments of the Fort Tryon Park Trust and the Morris-Jumel Mansion.
