They arrived to pay tribute to an icon of the Harlem community on Wednesday, November 14, Ruby Dee‘s 90th Birthday at the Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture!
Danny Glover with Jessie Jackson, Rosie O’donnel, Harry Belafonte, Melvin Van Peebles, S. Epatha Merkerson, Vy Higginson, Voza Rivers, David Dinkins, Harry Belafonte, Pete Seeger, Glynn Turman, Courtney Vance, Jeffrey Wright, Malik Yoba and a host of others.
The band broke out with some James Brown beats, as everybody got their dance on!
Champagne was poured, toasts were made and it was just a great evening.
