Firmly planted in the worlds of jazz hip hop and R& B, Grammy-nominated Robert Glasper will bring together an all-star cast featuring the Robert Glasper Experiment (Derrick Hodge, Mark Colenburg and Casey Benjamin), Lalah Hathaway, Eric Roberson, Stokley (from Mint Condition), Questlove (Thurs. only) and many more, as they dedicate two intimate evenings to Stevie Wonder’s timeless body of music. Performances include new arrangements of Wonder’s music and the premiere of new Harlem Stage commissioned compositions by Glasper, inspired by Stevie Wonder.
