What’s New: SarkuJapan Teryaki & Susha Express

The new SarkuJapan Teryaki & Susha Express restaurant on 125th Street between Adam Clayton Powell Blvd., and Malcolm X Blvd., (on the north side of the street).

Harlem Gal reports that Sarku Japan has opened a store in Harlem, Harlem Franchisee, Vinny Vig said,

“With the rise of Japanese quick service cuisine, I am confident that I’ve made a smart investment and am pleased to be offering the Harlem neighborhood a healthier alternative to traditional fast food.”

Ray on Yelp said:

“They are extremely courteous and the place has a nice seating capacity (even an upper level for additional seating).  Also, it’s nice to see some local Harlemites at work in this place.  I would say that Sarku is okay if you’re shopping on 125th Street and find yourself hungry, or happen to work in the area.”

“The store on… 125^th Street … is part of a major expansion of the brand’s franchise program into the metro NYC area, including locations in Queens, Brooklyn, Yonkers, and Long Island.”
