On December 10th, 2012, NYPD Commissioner Ray Kelly, Doc Oz, Brooklyn Nets President Brett Yormark, and Tiki Barber joined together for the opening of the first super-green, eco-friendly Applebee’s in the East River Plaza on East 117th Street.
The ribbon-cutting event marked the second Applebee’s restaurant to open in Harlem with the first opened on 125th Street and Fifth Avenue in 2011.
The crowd showed much love to Dr. Oz, Comm. Kelly, and Tiki as they posed for quick shots with their fans. Photographs by Rudy Collins.
