African Americans make up about 12 percent of the U.S. population, but are almost one-third of all missing person cases reported each year. Though they may be gone, they are no longer forgotten.

TV One’s hour long docu-drama series, Find Our Missing, returns for a second season beginning January 9 at 9/8C.   Hosted by Harlemite and reknowned actress S. Epatha Merkerson, each episode will feature two stories per hour, spotlighting people of color – young and old – who have disappeared without a trace.

Using recreations, archive and police evidence, Find Our Missing will highlight exactly what is known of the what, when and where of the disappearance.  This hyper-detailed treatment of the disappearance hopes to provide viewers with details that may jog the memories of any unknown witnesses.

A number of resolved cases will also be among those featured in this year’s season.  At the end of each story, Find Our Missing will provide contact information for the regional police and missing person agencies handling the cases.

Don’t miss season two of Find Our Missing! Tune in Wednesday. January 9 at 9/8C for the season two premiere.  Beginning,  January 14, Find Our Missing will air at Mondays at 9/8C.
